Debian Downgrade

When downgrading I got into one pitfall: kmail.
after starting the new kmail I got the following message:

  "KMail could not create folder '$HOME/Mail';
  please make sure that you can view and modify the content of the folder
  '/home/tweety'."

this results in a different config syntax of
~/.kde/share/config/kmailrc

Just delete the line
folders=$HOME/Mail
